he UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, focuses on natural resource efficiency, reducing waste and sustainable business practises. We minimise the use of virgin materials by increasing our products recycled material content where possible. This includes using recycled content in chipboard, foils for wrapping kitchen frontals and plastic components. This reduces the volume of virgin material that is required, such as virgin timber, and in doing so helps to conserve the Earth’s natural resources.

Many of our kitchen decors are made using wood from the circular economy, which includes recycled wood as well as by-products from the sawmill industry, thus reducing the need for virgin wood. Several finishes have an innovative 70% recycled PET foil made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, plus all of our cabinets are made from 80% recycled material and 20% by-product from the sawmill industry.

Product Credentials

Worktops

All our laminate worktops are manufactured using 80% recycled board and 20% by-product from the sawmill industry.

Cabinet Construction

All our cabinet board is manufactured using 80% recycled board and 20% by-product from the sawmill industry. All our cabinet legs are made from 100% recycled plastic.

Water Based Paints

We only used water based paints in out paint to order ranges. This provides a high quality finish and is low in VOCs, creating a healthy work environment for our staff.
